Great phone for the price, clear connection, great features, easy to read caller id (which id hard to find on more expensive phones) overall a really solid choice for the money
Lastly, if I hold the phone between my head and shoulder, which I shouldn't do anyway, sometimes the END button is accidentally pressed and the call ended.Overall I've been very happy with this inexpensive phone. It seems to need a continuous, minimum volume level to work properly. It only runs out of power if I don't charge it for several days. I've been very pleased, especially considering its low cost.Pros:The button layout is intuitive, and the buttons work well and feel nice. I keep the phone near me during the day and return it to the charging base at night. It doesn't happen often, though.
The speakerphone is fine for conversations, but if you're on hold with canned music, the sound turns off and on repeatedly, which is annoying. The dialing buttons and screen are backlit. The phone has proven to be durable, and the battery life seems good. The base also has a button to find the phone if it's lost, which has been helpful a few times.Cons:Occasionally a call will drop after I've been talking for a while. The screen has 3 lines and displays caller ID info if you have that service. I've had this phone for nearly a year and use it every day.
Sound quality is good, and volume is adequate and easily adjustable. This usually happens when I lie down and the antenna is horizontal, and there are several walls between the phone and base.
expected this to be a simple, easy, high quality phone. disappointed to find that the speaker function does not work.
And there's no mute button. The handset clicks CONSTANTLY and even when I'm near the base, the reception is crap. I wish I would have spent more for a better phone.
The phone has great features and we liked it so much that I wanted to get another one.The main feature that I purchased this second one for was the headset compatability and belt clip feature which Amazon.com makes clear in its description that the BELT CLIP IS INCLUDED. The packaging doesn't mention that its included at all.
FYI - the Amazon packaging is blister style, the Circuit City packaging was an actual boxed item and the model numbers are identical.Amazon needs to change the description of this item IMMEDIATELY to say BELT CLIP NOT INCLUDED. I urged them to make sure someone checks the packaging to make sure its there.
So I called Amazon and told them its "missing" and they offered to send me a new one. Now I have to return a SECOND one to them.
I ordered this item through Amazon because I already have one that I purchased from Circuit City over 6 months ago. Well, the package came and lo and behold, no belt clip.
but what a waste of time, the same new phone came, same packaging, no belt clip.
